This card can not be special summoned in anyway, other then via Commander Convington, even after he's been properly special summoned in the first place, you can not activate call of the haunted, nor the currently forbidden (advanced format) premature burial. Card that state "except by" in their special summoning condition, are limited to that being the only means to which it can be special summoned. However cards like Chaos Sorcerer, state "you can special summon this card by" which means once it has met those conditions, that copy of the card can be special summoned via other means also from that point on.
In short, this card is entirely useless outside of a Machina deck.
